Description

A great marble altar stands here, bleak and black as night but for the veined
streaks of white that weave through it and the surrounding room.  Intricate
portrayals of dragons and monsters are carved into every polished surface.
Flickering firelight casts the whole room in and out of shadows, making it seem
as though the carvings move just in the periphery of vision.
